At Total Vitality Centre we consider that your skin is the largest organ of your body, and much of what you put on it is likely to be absorbed. That is why, with all of our beauty and spa services, we use organic materials; and in the case of our nail products – we only use organic/vegan products.

Organic Beauty Products means that the formulation of cosmetic products use organically farmed ingredients. These ingredients are grown without the use of Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO), herbicides, synthetic fertilisers and more.

The label of Organic Skincare, means that the skin care products are made of plant derived ingredients (Botanical) along with other naturally occurring ingredients. Once again, these ingredients are grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides, synthetic fertilizers, or GMO’s.

A product that is Vegan means that it does not contain any animal ingredients or animal-derived ingredients. This includes, but is not limited to, honey, beeswax, lanolin, collagen, albumen, carmine, cholesterol, gelatin, and many others. The term “vegan” can also mean that a product is free from animal testing, which is also known as “Cruelty Free”.

Our Nail products are also 5 Free and 10 Free. The 5 main toxic chemicals in most nail products are Toluene, Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, and Camphor. Our nail products are free of these harmful chemicals.

We believe that what you put on your body is as important as what you put in your body. Our skin is more than an outer covering; it is the main defence against external injury. It is a living, breathing organ, the largest in the body. What we put on our skin is absorbed into our body, the synthetic chemicals in many skin care preparations soak into the skin and, as the body cannot recognise and process these ‘foreign’ substances, they will accumulate in the tissues with the potential over time to cause an allergic skin reaction such as contact dermatitis or eczema. This accumulation can also disrupt other systems in the body.

Choosing certified organic body care is as important in decreasing the toxic load on the body as choosing a healthy, organic diet. Plants grown organically yield the purest oils and extracts, free from herbicide and pesticide contamination.

Esthetics Services

At Total Vitality Centre our esthetic services can provide a variety of treatments to enhance a person’s appearance. One popular service offered is permanent makeup, which involves the use of tattooing techniques to apply pigment to the skin in order to create the appearance of makeup, such as eyeliner, eyebrows, and lip color. This can save time and hassle for people who want to have a polished look without the need to apply makeup daily.

Another service that can be offered is lash and brow tinting. This involves using a semi-permanent dye to darken the lashes and eyebrows, giving the eyes a more defined and dramatic look. This can be especially beneficial for people with light-colored lashes and brows, or for those who want to enhance their natural features without the need for makeup.

Eyelash extensions are another popular esthetic service, where synthetic lashes are applied to natural lashes to create a fuller, longer and more dramatic look, this service can last up to 2-3 weeks with proper care, and it gives a natural look and saves time for makeup application.
